The JoS Has A New High Priestess

Greetings to all of our Satanic Family,

The Joy of Satan now has a new High Priestess, Lydia. Everyone knows her for her outstanding contributions and how much of a help she has been for everyone in the Spiritual Satanist community. It was only fitting that eventually this would happen and now this has formally occurred, albeit everyone knows my opinion was that this was already the case.

Right now, HPS Lydia has been officially ordained. She always has been of importance and been a lighthouse for the Joy of Satan and it's members.

We welcome her into the Priesthood and may she be blessed in all her endeavors. As we all seek to shine the light of the Gods as much as we can, we must humble ourselves in the sight of these opportunities which present themselves, to improve what the Gods love the most, which is the Joy of Satan.

We thank you High Priestess Lydia and may the Gods shine on all our paths and we all wish you a great term of unwavering devotion and bright wisdom.

Certain other changes that have occurred will also be related publicly soon. May we all rejoice in our beautification, growth and further expansion. Without the community nothing would be possible; all of you have always been the most important incentive, family of SS.

May we all walk together into ever greater wisdom.

I always had a feeling Lydia would be a future HP as I further familiarize myself with the JoS and the forums. With a lot of the older HPs and Guardians leaving due to whatever circumstance, I was starting to feel a bit worried, this provides a glimmer of hope. Good job to her and hail Satan!

As far as myself and many others were concerned, this was practically long the case already. Congratulations Lydia, let it be said you earned your stripes a thousand times over. I'm one of the many who can say that when I was younger and far more inexperienced, you offered not only quick and helpful advice, but caring advice as well, even beyond the obligation of simple civility. It's that care I'd not since forgotten, and I'm sure I'm only one of the many.

it was something that had to happen a day or another. Congratulations. But i prefer that the title HPS isn't between square brackets. This in general for each title of high priest or priestess.

Personally I have considered you worthy of this role for many years, and looked up to you as a Priestess of Satan for a long time, I am glad you decided to take on the mantle now and be Ordained with what in my eyes you have always stood for and represented.

To formally call you HPS is something I had fondly looked forward to from the moment I had become familiar with you shortly after my dedication.

I am not here to be rude or agrassive, there is a question in my mind, what is the standards for one to have a title such as high priest, it's been 2 years since I joined this forums, Lydia have never replied to any of posts or give me any help, if you are a regular member it's your business to be active with people or not but when you hold a title like JG it's your responsibility to do so, blitzkrieg give me a lot of support and help why he is not a HP while he is more active than Lydia on the forums, anyway congratulations my sister in Satan it's hard to be on the top but it's way more harder to keep it that way, i don't hold anything against you in fact i hope that you will bring more balance to the community.

Thank you, I came across the name when I saw a child, I read it somewhere and really liked it so I vowed that when I grew up I would legally change my name to it. I didn't, but when I found the JoS and joined the yahoo groups (this was before we had forums), I immediately chose this name.

Great to see the Clergy being consolidated formally and officially with someone very deserving after all the work and time invested in growing JoS, especially after having "high priests/esses" that went unnoticed for years and years.

Lydia has shown tremendous efforts and perseverance in helping growing this community.
In almost a decade of my journey, I have never seen her offend or intact voluntarily the path of other members, but only support them in their material and spiritual development.

I came to the forum and I saw, "The JoS Has A New High Priestess", and I said, "Let me guess - it's Lydia". It is Lydia! Congratulations, HPS Lydia; and actually - to all who made this happen, from Lydia to HPHC and whichever consulting God/Goddess - thank you for JG Lydia becoming HPS Lydia. I believe this was the right choice. It was inevitable.
